Snowfall Season 1: Creating an Empathic Protagonist

A well set up opening scene to create empathy for the protagonist Franklin. Respectful and moral despite peer pressure to help the ice cream driver get his goods back from the thieves.

Empathy creates a connection between the audience and the character. We want to see him more and invest time in him.

But we quickly witness this flawed character who seemingly wants to be moral going down a dark path to money and ‘freedom’.
