Creating twists: Withholding information from the audience; helps define a lot of the choices making. you know what you can only say. The lines of what they say in the future have to make sense in order for the reveal later to make sense logically

Moving to Netflix from Channel 4: Allowed to fit the time around the storyline not the story around the slot.

Anthology and Netflix: No concerns about battling against other shows on TV at the same time.

Marketing: It's hard to market Black Mirror without giving away too much.
